Manager access to view/edit other users

Setting up managers with the ability to view and edit other users can now quickly be done with the new edit all feature. The edit all feature allows the manager access to view/edit all entities of the selected users.

  1. Login to Admin Tools
  2. Locate the manager
    1. Filter by first name/last name
    2. Use the search field in the top right corner
  3. Click on the user to open the file
  4. Select the “Activity Permissions” Tab
  5. To allow the manager access to all entities under user’s profiles toggle the edit all button
  6. Click on the “View Others” and “Edit Others” field to select which users the manager will be able to View and Edit

  7. Select Save

 

View User’s Recent Activity

  1. Login to Admin Tools
  2. Locate the user
    1. Filter by first name/last name
    2. Use the search field in the top right corner
  3. Click on the user to open the file
  4. On the left hand side the user entity view will appear, this is a read only version of the users recent activity. This Entity will continue to develop as Handle 2.0 is released.

Management Notes

Managers can have private discussion regarding specific deals or the overall account. These notes can be tied to any other item in Handle (e.g. Opportunity, Sales Call, Trade Assessment, JDQuote, Account, Contact, etc).

  1. Login to Admin Tools
  2. Locate the manager
    1. Filter by first name/last name
    2. Use the search field in the top right corner
  3. Click on the user to open the file
  4. Select the “Activity Permissions” Tab
  5. Under Management Note check if the user should have access to View and/or Create Management Notes
