Form details can be copied to create duplicate items.
Common use cases:
- Use to ‘reopen’ completed items
- Make multiple quotes or items with different details
- Change from one form type to another (e.g. Sales Call to Opportunity)
- Make duplicate item for a different account
When using ‘Copy’, only matching value will be transferred to the new form. If you are copying an opportunity to an opportunity, all of the form details will be duplicated, but if you change the form type from opportunity to sales call, only the common fields, such as Title and Description will be duplicated.
Additionally, only the form field information will be transferred with the form—not the linked relationships, such as account, contacts, or other activities.
